Who we are
God’s Tree Servants Inc. is a faith-based disaster relief and community restoration nonprofit dedicated to serving individuals and families impacted by storms and natural disasters across the Eastern United States.
Founded by Ernest Pozzi, President, God’s Tree Servants was born out of nearly three decades of hands-on experience in the tree industry and disaster response. Ernest has been providing tree services and disaster relief since 1996, helping communities recover after hurricanes, severe storms, and other emergencies. Throughout his work, he witnessed a heartbreaking reality—many low-income families, veterans, elderly individuals, and people with disabilities were left behind after disasters, unable to afford the high cost of emergency tree removal and debris cleanup.
As a Christian, Ernest felt called to do more than just the work—he felt called to serve. Guided by faith and compassion, he founded God’s Tree Servants to ensure that no one is forgotten during times of crisis. Our organization exists to provide safe, professional, and compassionate tree removal and debris relief to those most in need, restoring access, safety, and dignity to vulnerable communities.
At God’s Tree Servants, we believe service is a calling. We are committed to answering that call by helping rebuild lives, one community at a time—serving people not just with equipment and expertise, but with faith, integrity, and love.
Why it Matters
Multiple, potentially hazardous trees remain neglected in low-income and underserved communities due to the high costs associated with professional tree pruning, trimming, and removal. These communities often lack the financial resources necessary to proactively maintain aging or storm-vulnerable trees, resulting in preventable safety risks.
When hazardous trees are not properly managed before severe weather events, they become a primary contributor to storm-related damage, including downed power lines, blocked roadways, structural damage to homes, and increased risks to human life. Many of these disasters could be significantly reduced—or entirely avoided—through preventative tree maintenance and early intervention.
God’s Tree Servants Inc. recognizes that proactive tree care is a form of disaster prevention, not merely post-storm cleanup. Our mission is to eliminate financial barriers by providing all hazard mitigation and disaster-prevention tree services at no cost to qualifying individuals, families, and communities.
Through preventative action, faith-driven service, and professional arboricultural expertise, God’s Tree Servants Inc. serves vulnerable populations by removing dangerous trees before storms strike—protecting lives, preserving property, and strengthening community resilience.
