Who we are
God’s Tree Servants Inc. is a faith-based disaster relief and community restoration nonprofit dedicated to serving individuals and families impacted by storms and natural disasters across the Eastern United States.
Founded by Ernest Pozzi, President, God’s Tree Servants was born out of nearly three decades of hands-on experience in the tree industry and disaster response. Ernest has been providing tree services and disaster relief since 1996, helping communities recover after hurricanes, severe storms, and other emergencies. Throughout his work, he witnessed a heartbreaking reality—many low-income families, veterans, elderly individuals, and people with disabilities were left behind after disasters, unable to afford the high cost of emergency tree removal and debris cleanup.
As a Christian, Ernest felt called to do more than just the work—he felt called to serve. Guided by faith and compassion, he founded God’s Tree Servants to ensure that no one is forgotten during times of crisis. Our organization exists to provide safe, professional, and compassionate tree removal and debris relief to those most in need, restoring access, safety, and dignity to vulnerable communities.
At God’s Tree Servants, we believe service is a calling. We are committed to answering that call by helping rebuild lives, one community at a time—serving people not just with equipment and expertise, but with faith, integrity, and love.

“We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Pozzi family and God’s Tree Servants for their incredible help after Hurricane Helene caused a 45-foot tree to fall in our yard in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
The tree, which had been caught by a nearby oak tree and its branches, was leaning dangerously over a fence and a powerline. Unfortunately, since it did not fall on a structure, our insurance would not cover the removal cost. As an elderly couple on Social Security, we simply couldn’t afford the $2,000 that most services quoted us for the job.
While discussing the situation with Colleen Pozzi, who was working across the street with her family, we learned about their nonprofit organization that provides tree services for senior citizens and those unable to afford traditional costs. To our relief, they assured us that they could help through their nonprofit program if we could wait a little while.
True to their word, about a month later, we received a call letting us know that we would be their first recipients under this program. Shortly after, their team arrived at our home and carefully removed the fallen tree without causing any damage to our fence, solar panels, or powerline. They even took down a couple of stray branches that needed to be addressed, all while leaving our yard cleaner than before.
The team worked with incredible precision, speed, and safety, demonstrating genuine care for our property and well-being. Their work reflects the true spirit of serving others as God calls us to do.
We wholeheartedly recommend God’s Tree Servants to anyone in need of tree services, whether they can afford it or not. Their kindness, professionalism, and faith-filled mission make them a blessing to the community.
